Eat More Fruit

You know you're supposed to eat more produce, and adding sweet, juicy fruit to your diet is the easiest way to start. Not only does it taste great, but:

It keeps you feeling full longer.
Most fruits--especially apples, pears, and berries--are high in fiber, which fills up your stomach so you don't get hungry again so soon।

Fruit is full of healthy plant substances called phytochemicals, not to mention essential nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin A and potassium.

It's the perfect portable snack.
Throw peaches, plums or oranges in your purse on the way out the door। Canned fruit (packed in water or "light syrup") and a quarter-cup of dried fruit make great brown-bag side dishes. And fruit smoothies are a quick meal-on-the-go.
